Questions and setup help

Search the documentation and existing GitHub Issues first. If the answer is still unclear, ask in Discord with the Rudder version, operating system, install method, and the step that failed. Open a GitHub Issue once a bug is reproducible or a product change is concrete.

Bug reports

Include the smallest useful reproduction:
  • Rudder version or commit
  • operating system and install command
  • expected and observed behavior
  • relevant logs, screenshots, or terminal output
Remove API keys, credentials, customer data, private repository content, and other sensitive material before posting publicly.

Feature requests

Describe the work loop you are trying to complete, where it currently stops, who owns the next action, and which output or Review evidence should remain. This makes the request easier to evaluate than a list of desired interface controls.

Use the changelog for stable release history and upgrade notes. GitHub Releases also contains prerelease history.
